CHEERLEADERS VS. ALIENS Auditions in Park City

December 13, 2017

CHEERLEADERS VS. ALIENS is coming to the Egyptian Youtheatre in May of 2018, to be directed by the incredible Alicia Washington, artistic director of Good Company Theatre. And sign-ups for auditions are now available! If you know any young actors (13+) near Park City who'd be interested in joining the team, please send them over to sign-ups ASAP!

Auditions are January 13, 11:30am-1pm, with callbacks that same afternoon between 2-3pm.

More about the play:

"When aliens invade a small town and abduct the high school football team to steal their brain jelly, no one steps up to save them. Not the parents, not the principal, not the police, not the fire department, not the governor, not even the marines. Thankfully there's one last group no one ever thought of as heroic, and they're ready and able to kick some alien butt… the Greenville High School Cheerleading Squad use rhymes, cartwheels, glitter, and a fun-ton of tinfoil to save the day!”

And, you can read the script on the New Play Exchange here!

All actors must commit to the full rehearsal schedule, which you can find if you scroll to the bottom of the Egyptian Youtheatre Spring Class Schedule here. There are twenty roles in all, 10 female roles, 4 male roles, and 6 non-gender specific roles. Questions? Comments?
