Before this year, I'd never been to Indiana in my life, and soon I'll be on my second trip out! St. Mary's College in Nortre Dame, Indiana is producing The Book Women this Fall, and they've invited me out to join them for a few weeks in their rehearsal process!
In addition to attending rehearsals, I will be:
- Teaching a writing workshop
- Giving interviews
- Having readings of two new plays, Hear Us Roar and something hot off the presses
- Enjoying a nature excursion complete with horses and hiking
- And doing an event/signing for my playwriting book, How To Build A Playwright In Three Acts
I can't tell you how excited I am for this! I'm so glad that I was asked, and would absolutely love to make this a regular part of my life. SO, if you know of any colleges or universities looking to bring in resident playwrights, point them in my direction.
